'Songliner' is derived from an important custom of the music-centric Australian Aborigines. They utilize the word 'songline' to correspond to spiritually connected lines that criss-cross their continent and give them what author Robert Lawlor called an ongoing “vision of the sacred earth as a ledger of cosmology.” By listening to the songs and energies of the Earth and returning them, they return the power back to what they call the ‘Dreamtime’ that gave them the gift of life.

Blessed with the ability to duplicate on piano any music he heard in the world as a child, Songliner soon began creating his own music to express feelings and observations. Today he is able to convert anything and everything in his world into a sonic snapshot of song, melody, and rhythm. In a modern spinoff of the Aboriginal model, Songliner utilizes his infinite gift as an agent of change to educate, enlighten, entertain and bring added significance to people, places, and things.
